I seem to remember that starting next month and through to the new year things slow down significantly due to the holiday shutdown. I usually send payment in as soon as I receive during this time rather than waiting a week or so to ensure that the shut down isn't an inconvenience to me.

Yep, every year there is a holiday shut down during the month of December. Then it takes him a bit to get back up to speed. I also send a payment in during that time so I'm not at the bottom of the stack when he starts shipping again.

The only holiday shut downnow will be at Xmas and this is Xmas day, 26th DEc and Jan 1st, the usual public holidays. Post is a little slower before Xmas obviously, but they employ extra staff in the UK at that time as well. There is no other holiday shut down by the post in the UK except for the usual public holidays, of which there are 8.

There is, however, national strike action taking place at the moment so this will delay collections and sorting so be aware that this could not only lead to delays, but backlogs lead to missing post.

It is the Biotran company itself, not the UK post, that takes a month off in December. They do it every year.

Hi Brigid
Is the UK national strike action taking place as we speak? Is it a partial slowdown ? Any idea when it will be settled?

thank you very much !!

Checked out the situation.

A 'rolling" partial strike in outlaying areas mostly so far.

The union has voted for a full strike on the ninth of Oct. Some hope it can still be averted. They must give 7 days notice before an actual strike takes place.

Hey guys. Been following the posts about this. Seems like folks are in general pleased with the results? Things looking good? I was thinking of calling to get my first trial next Sunday. Before I acted I wanted to see what you guys had to say. What's the general consensus? Good delivery time, good quality? In general, good relations with the provider?

You guys are the lifeblood of this forum, like I've said in some of my other posts, and have helped new people like me to really learn and hopefully become a good, contributing member. Thanks again, lemme know what you guys are thinking. And as I tend to say, feel free to PM if you feel your post might detract or otherwise cause a bad stir. Best of luck to everyone and keep on doin' what you do! =^-^=

Stick with what works for you but the proper way to write the address according to the USPS is:

Biotran
Suite 12
27 Colmore Row
Birmingham B3 2EW
England

Interesting, I saved the original e-mail from them with their directions:

Here are some tips how to make sure your payment arrives at the biotran address.
1 Make sure you put a clear return address on your payment envelope, for added sercurity put a bit of clear tape over the return address.
2 Make sure you put clear tape over the biotran address.
3 Make sure you seal the envelope with clear tape,so the letter can not come open on route.
4 Make sure it as airmail written on the envelope.
5 Make sure you wrap payment inside the orderform and another piece of paper so payment is wrapped up in two pieces of A4 paper.
6 Make sure you send a hand written copy of the orderform if you have not got a printer or print a form off,no ordeform with payment no shipment will be sent out to you. Here is the link to orderform web page http://www.biotran.co.uk/orderform.html .
7 For extra sercurity send it Global priorty mail, this costs 5 dollars to send and it as to be sign for by biotran staff. This option is down to the customer and is not compulsory,so just send the payment by regular mail if you want to save 5 dollars..
8 Biotran does not take checks ,money orders or credit cards if you send payment by these methods you will not receive your next shipment.
9 Here below is how you should write the biotran address on the envelope you send to the company.
Biotran
suite 12
27 colmore row
Birmingham
B3 2ew
England
When you send payment for the sample it is best to send 10 dollars,if you send more the company will class any extra money as a tip.So please just send 10 dollars to receive shipment 2.

http://www.biotran.co.uk most info can be found at web site, prices and amount of pills you will receive after payment.

I have been following these exactly for years with 100% success. I did stop using Global Priority Mail when it more than doubled in price.

I noticed that the plastic sleeve I received with my last order had a label that read: "If you require another order place payment in sleeve". Also on the sleeve was a label with my name, address and item/amount ordered. Up until now I have been including a new order form along with payment. Now I'm wondering if I was correct in just placing my payment in the plastic sleeve, wrapping it in a couple sheets of paper and sending it off. I've sent him an email, but I know they are busy and don't like to be bothered with 'dumb' questions. Anybody have the answer? Many thanks.

hey hurtin, my first order took 8 weeks to receive and along with pmnt i told him to take me off the mailing list. also sent email, simply because i cannot return pmnt on time because of my line of work. so hopefully i helped everyone waiting move up a fraction of a notch. i also moved but didn't even wait to see if that would be a problem. good luck and may all your orders come swiftly!

I spoke to this guy on the phone about 1 month ago and he talked me into requesting Codeisan but before sending him an order form I decided I wanted Perduretas instead. I kept forgetting to call him every Sunday and eventually lost the number so I sent him two emails over the past week requesting the number to speak to him about receiving Perduretas instead. It didn't seem like he was going to respond so I just sent off the order form requesting Perduretas. I got an email response today saying if I want Perduretas to contact him in 2010. If all he's willing to send for now is Codeisan then xxx hey... stay on topic... this thread is about biotran xxx

I am completely confused with Biotran. Hopefully, someone can help me out. I thought it was you emailed him your info- and then he would send out 10. Then if you liked those, you would mail back an order form + cash to him, and get more.

Is this not the way it works? He sent me an email today-

Here is the web address for the orderform web page http://www.biotran.co.uk/orderform.html you can print off a form here, send to the above address in england. If you like the sample reply back to biotran by email.

So, does this mean some samples are on the way, and if I like them, to snail mail him a payment with the order form?

Id reply back and ask him, but from what i can see, ppl say that its best not to annoy him.

Nope. You definitely need to send him an order form for him to send you anything. It seems if you're willing to accept the weaker med (Codeisan) then you can just send him a copy of the filled out order form and he'll send them. If you want the higher mg longer acting med (Perduretas) then you need to call where imo he try's to up-sell you to the weaker med for the same price. I'm not willing to pay the same price for a weaker med so he told me to try back next year lol.
