sounds about like Panafen Plus Akia, You may well know this, but the big difference is that the non-narcotic ingredient in Solpadeine Max is Tylenol to us, aka apap, acetaminophen. Everywhere else in the world, "Tylenol" is called "paracetamol". ---- So it's about like the Panafen, but with that big difference for which organ they with aggrevate with the secondary, potentiating ingredient. Ibuprofen, Motrin can harm the kidneys if used in excess. Tylenol, apap, paracetamol, acetaminophen can harm the liver if used in excess. ------ I note this for the benefit of the majority of us who don't always, and shouldn't be expected to know these ingredients by their medical names. I mean, what kind of word is 'apap'? - sounds like baby talk ------ Confused as I sometimes am, I believe Tylenol and the other names it's referred to in the fine print has the anti-inflammatory properties. ------ Solpadeine Max seems to be a UK product. I don't know if Solpadeine Max available in AU. AU has always seemed too long a trip for a package to travel for my wife's ailments. Despite the repeated success folks report ordering from AU, UK just seems to be an easier trip for a package coming to the USA. ----- Sadly, since I had my gall bladder removed, I can't take but a single dose of anything with codeine whereas before codeine agreed with me fine. ------ I did a quick bit of research on Solpadeine Max and noticed you could order it right from Amazon OTC in the UK. Same with Nurofen Plus. Of course you had to be a UK resident....... Smarter people, please correct me wherever I'm mistaken on this topic. patient2all
