We have a very unusual problem
All the posts made by "Lovepink" are gone, all her PM's are gone, and her account was deleted.

To Lovepink: We are very sorry about this. It was not intentional. We think your posts were fantastic and that your contribution to this community is second to none.
We will fix it if we can.

This was not intentional. We are very sorry for this. A lot of valuable content seems to be lost. We all know that "Lovepink" is one of our top contributors. Her posts were great, very friendly, and very informative.

Unfortunately all her PM's are gone too.

There was a problem with our database so the tables were repaired and optimized. Everything looked OK at first but a few hours later we noticed that the all posts of one of our best members were gone. A real tragedy and lots of bad luck. We have almost 20000 members and it looks like only the account of a Lovepink with over 1000 posts is gone.

We are not sure if any other members have been deleted.

We are trying to determine if doing a board restore will be posible. Hope we can.

If we can go back to how it was before this happened it will be great. We really hate to loose all post and pm's ever made by Lovepink.

To all members: please send me a PM if you notice that other members are missing too.

How wierd is that! Lovepink I hope you keep posting, I liked to read your posts and did not get to read all of them.

I noticed that I couldn't find anything from Lovepink, and I believe that the two unread notes were from her. The three saved notes which I had already read were from her. Now, there are no PMs at all in my "mailbox", although it states that there are still five notes there.

Pink, if you're out there, PLEASE start posting again!!! (Oh, and check your email!)

I wrote to her at DandP and told her what was up ealier today. No response yet. I hope she can still get on here. DB, are her username and password still good?

Did or does DB have her email. Can any one email her? This is terrible.

I just heard back from LP and first and foremost she sends hugs to all of her friends. She said that she did re-register as Lovepink, but has to wait the required amount of time (re: posting school, LOL) before she can post. But she can receive PM's.

Also, she said that once she can post again, she will try to re-do her Soma thread (in the who offers it, how much section) but if any one wants to help her out by starting the thread and adding some prices and sources, she would really appreciate it. So for any of you that order Soma, get in there, post and help her out.

We will be awaiting your return, LP!! You know what they say about the second time around, it's always better anyway!

I can not believe that we lost over 1000 informative, sweet and supportive posts from one of the boards most sweetest girls. It really is terrible to lose her posts because they were always honest, educated, and so super informative.

What a terrible loss, especially for the new members and every member signing up on a daily basis.

Lovepink-I am so sorry that this happened to you and am so grateful for all the wonderful knowledge that you have contibuted to this board and am also gratful that I wrote down the info from your posts that would help me, and am especailly grateful for any time you took or offered to take to help me out. I hope this "glitch" doesn't keep you from coming back to us, you're one that's definately needed around here.

there are 2 posts by Lovepink on the VIP side, under e-mail sources, maybe u can do something with those....

I'm a little confused....is she coming back? Is her account being restored, even if the posts are really lost?

Thank you and hugs to everyone for their concern & sweet words. I'm back, thanks to DB Admin who allowed me to graduate from posting school early.

I have my title but the posts are gone forever. DB is trying to figure out a way to restore my original registration date of over a year ago & post count. Fortunately (& I was not looking forward to redoing it) DB had saved a copy of my Soma thread from over the summer so I just have to take it back over & figure out what I had added to it over the last few months. Definitely easier than starting from scratch.

Anyway, I need to run, but again thank you all for your very kind posts & emails.

That sucks about losing all your posts, etc. I had the same thing happen to me just last month so I had to re-register. I used the same name as before though, without the "new" at the end. Either way, I was still an infant to DB as I had first registered at the beginning of August this year. And I had nowhere near 1000 posts. I'm still not a VIP yet, so I guess that's something I should think about. Did you have to pay to re-register for the VIP board? That would be a shame. I really doubt it though, the DB staff is pretty dang good here. Anyways, it's good to have you back Goddess!

Actually, I reregistered using the same name as well. The "New" portion of my username appeared tonight and was a surprise to me, albeit a pleasant surprise when I found out that DB had managed to "find" all of my previously lost posts. The 1000+ "old" posts are listed under the username "Lovepink_old" & the 30+ I've made since the software snafu are listed under "Lovepink_new". Hopefully they'll be able to be consolidated but I'm just thankful DB was able to restore them.

And no, I didn't have to pay to re-register for anything - DB has done its best to make a very frustrating time for me as easy as possible.

Sure glad to see you back here, Pink! The place was not the same without you.
