I've never tried ketamine but would like to try a sample to test its analgesic effects. then I would certainly make a purchase if all was good.

Wondering if this info is accurate; that Ketamine is a horse tranquilizer. If that's true, and an adult horse weights somewhere around 1000 lbs, I don't get how or who titers that down for human consumption. Sounds like might heavy stuff to me.

its an animal tranquilizer. we used to give it to cats when I worked at the Humane Society. you'd give them ketamine, and then whatever else when you put them down.

its easy to dose, its liquid so you use a syringe. I've never personally done it. but I've used syringes before for other medications, and measuring it out is the same.

My vet also used Ketamine on feral cats and it took away the fear response so they could handle them to spay and neuter them.

yes, this is another use, I never did that because we didn't do those proceedures at the place I worked at. but if we had to move a feral cat from a portable kennel or anything we'd have a big pole with a syringe on the end of it and get them through the cage. then when they were all calm down and basically asleep, we'd pick them up and put them into the kennels there. one time we had to give a cat 3 shots, it was a crazy cat!

Many I tamed but some still cannot be handled. My DH and I both had bites and scratches and now one of the worst cats is very tame and sweet.

Sounds like that cat was out using recreationally. I'm afraid to mess with stuff like that. If it's for animals, I don't really want ingest it. The thought of a cat firing up in a back alley is kinda funny though.

It is used as a human anesthetic as well. I believe it was used more often in the past, but because of the side effects, it fell out of favor. I think I recall reading somewhere that it is still used sometimes on young children, because they do not seem to experience the same side effects as adults do.

It is not hard to find online if you know where to look.

Also, it can be used safely for its analgesic properties IF used properly.

Never would I reccommend anyone to purchase powdered Ket. You have no clue what you are buying unless you own a gas-chromatic-mass-spectrometer.

Completely false. I know several sources for legit powder but cannot speak of them.

I've gotta ask cleo, have you ever done the liquid? or made it into powder yourself?

I've never done either, I'm just saying chances are you wouldn't know the difference if you've never done both ways.

Yes, I've used the liquid many times. And it's true that that it's easier to cut with powder, but if you use a legit vendor that will not happen. Now I buy powder and weigh it and mix it with water in an old ketamine vial and I have never noticed any differance. Vials are still easy to get, but not something you want going through customs. And unfortunately I cannot discuss any legit suppliers due to board Rules. The only place i can suggest is Mikee pharmacy because they have a website.

If it's pure and uncut it will dissolve in water quite quickly and cleanly. Very water soluble. It would then look just like regular water. A friend of mine years ago got some cut ket and the liquid was a milky-looking mess.

The real vials are basically water and ketamine. That's the reason that it'll dry up into residue (powder) if left out. I could be wrong though. I'm not getting into the different ways to do it because I don't want to really relive that part of my life and also because of the board Rules. I'm surprised this post is even still here.

yeah, I want to state that just because were talking about receiving it powdered does not mean its recreational. some sources just find it easier to ship it that way. or so I've been told. again, I've never once done ketamine.

I did however, have a vial of it in my hand, and was left alone while I worked at the humane society, but I really liked the job. so I put it back in its lock box.

apparently this stuff has to be behind three locks to get to it. door to the building, door to the room, and lock box.
