Okay, here's another one for everyone to chew on. I finally got my doctor to contact me for monthly refill--after trying to reach him on several occasions--like almost a week. Finally got the new script for one month (with no refill). Now that the month is up and it's time for a refill--THE DOCTOR HAS CLOSED HIS PRACTICE!!!!!!! Can anyone believe this [censored]?!

What the H are those of us who are in legitimate pain suppose to do? My medication only makes it possible for me to live a semi normal life -- to be able to go to work, perform my household duties, etc.

This whole experience is a CROCK!!

Please do not get me wrong. I am sorry for the mother who lost her son--but did she ever think that maybe he had some other issues going on with himself. Anyone who takes pain medication legitimately takes it to remain a productive member of this society.

Does anyone have any suggestions as to how we can fight back. I'm tired of being treated as if I am an addict when all I want is some relieve from the constant pain ----- and no I do not want to return to having epidural shots in my back. The last time I tried them it did not work

Is it the McLean VA doc? It doesn't surprise me if that is the one.. he did something similar to me and several others. There is another OCS that has a doc in Northern VA too. Hope you find some relief soon.. this really does suck.
