this thread just seems like very relevant info that should be bumped up...i see so many people pm'ing ROP reps on here to discuss issues with their orders and it scares me quite frankly...jmo~faerie

I know we are not supposed to bump, but this is really good advice that is more and more relevent as technology makes the world a smaller place.

I don't know if it shows, but take it out to be sure if it is in your profile.

I personally cant agree with this more.. especially as i have been one of the guilty ones requesting the info. Our CS handles the issues, and gets me included if need be, and thats the way it should be. I hope that customers continue keeping this thread alive... as it should be followed to the T.

Also because of all the sites that are consolidating, & the way they are buying up customer stats from the places closing up, who knows, as the DEA is shutting down these places, they might be using the cs base & setting up for when they go after the c/s. Just a paranoid thought.

Not paranoid at all. You know the DEA is after ROPs, script mills and double dipping pain patients (in KY & Tenn) thay are after patients and all of the above. DEA agents are laughing at pain patients. Assuming diversion is happening.. It is all a big joke. I believe that there are cases being made (or trying to be made) when the same names pop up in different ROP raids. Madison Pain - a hard service to use and pay for is the latest. It is the end. Just face it.

AMEN...

i am not sure why people refuse to see this! makes me glad i have never had to use an ROP... one order with an NROP in my entire online history... the rest being from my B&M doc...

i am not knocking anyone, believe you me... i am here to keep up with the info just in case i would need to use an ROP one day.... looks like those days may be coming to an end sooner than we think.

i hope i am wrong.

I am still confused about the PMP States. Why only KY & TN? I know there are alot more states that have this monitoring system. Is the 2 above just more strict? I do see "No Ship" States on several states, but almost all of them have these 2 states, so what is the difference between these 2 states and all the other states with monitoring programs?

Also, I agree, totally, that names, emails, etc. should never be used.

When it comes to the topic of this thread...
LE, and the DEA are really the last of the last thing most of our members have to worry about.

But if you info gets into the hands of a stalker, a nut case, your boss, you neighbor... then you have a lot to worry... and most likely you will not be able to ask LE to help becasue you will most likely not know where the attack is coming from...

You have read about some horror stories happening to forum, or chatroom participants. They can happen to you as well!

Nasty things have happened to some of our members that did not remain anonymous... their names have been made public, jobs have been lost, posts have been used in divorse cases, meds have been stolen, threats and nasty calls have been made... you name it...
A few of those that did not remain anonymous had to pay a price they did not think was so high...

DO NOT LET IT HAPPEN TO YOU!

It is very imrtant to be safe and it is very easy to be safe.
Just do not give you pprivete information, like name, phone, email, or similar to anyone that knows you board username and viceversa... do not give dthose that know who you are you board username...

Not being safe can have devatating consequences...

To our members: do not disclose your username to OCS's.
It is very important to remain anomymous. If you disclose your name and username you will not be able to post in an anomymous way. If OCS's know your name an username they may be forced to deny you service based on your posts... and you may not be able to post as you wish if something goes wrong.

WE STRONGLY RECOMMEND THAT OUR MEMBERS REMAIN anomymous. DO NOT DISCLOSE YOUR USERNAME TO ANYONE!

We know this is in the best interest of all. We have seen that those that do not follow this recommendation end up with problems that could have been avoided...

This is not about LE. This is common sense and about privacy...

Some examples of what can go wrong very wrong:
You give your board username to a co-worker. He gives it to your boss. Your boss does not like what you post: you are fired
You tell your wife / husband your board username. She, he uses what you posted to file a divorse
You tell your friends your board username... you post you just received your order... someone breaks into your house
You give your username to an OCS rep. They deny you service based on what you posted

To share info on buying meds, prescription drugs, your health, and medicine... privacy is a must... that is why patients info is protected so much...

Please: remain anomymous!

Please post other good reasons to remain anomymous online...

Try using different usernames to log at OCS's and IOP's and if your board username is "crazylobster999" do not think that people can not figure out who you are if your email is crazylobster999@hotmail.com

Thank you

This thread is not about protecting criminals from LE... this recommendation is just to protect the privacy of legitimate patients, normal people with a medical condition, using a public message board like ours :-)

If you are worried about your internet connection, phone, and every activity being monitored by LE... if you are being followed... then you have bigger problems than what we are here to help you with...

Also use some common sense when posting your troubles with an OCS.. If your package was lost stolen or you received the wrong meds. Don't be too specific, There isn't that many problems, and it's easy to figure out who you are.

Some OCS wield this information with reckless abandon.

Many people PM the OCS with names order numbers etc.. please email this info and don't PM the reps, I cannot tell how many PM there order number and names, and I try my best to tell everyone to email not PM.

Also never put your email addy or order ID's on a post, that is private info and should not be on the board.

Oh so true. I also am a firm believe people should not use their real names as email addresses, unless for work and needed, but not to email a service or people you know from a board.

Oh, wow.

I'm going to switch my e-mail address to an anonymous one right now.

I also thought of another consequence of making your screen name one that allows readers to know your identity: your KIDS could figure out who you are and might even try to place orders themselves. No kidding, prescription drugs are huge right now. (In my day it was keggers and pot... but I digress.)

Teens, especially, have these pill parties where everyone dumps random pills into a bowl and then they take them randomly not knowing what they're taking or what the effects will be.

Your teenagers could figure out how to access these online pharmacies and even charge to their parents' accounts. When I paid around $7 for 60 1 mg. generic Xanax prescription at the pharmacy drive-though, my teen son said "Did you know I could get around $350 for that?"

I had no idea. Xanax knocks me out so I can sleep; I don't know why teens would want to sleep when they're supposed to be out having a good time. But maybe it affects our systems differently than benzos affect teens' systems.

Just my random thoughts.

This is critical information. In order for us to post openly and honestly about OCS/ROPs/NROPs etc..,,we must remain invisible.

For the newer members,,there have been oldtimers in the past who shared their DB log on names with their ROP,,this is a crucial error. They will not honor you,,so you are putting yourself out there for the world to see and perceivably sacrificing your standing with their service.

Regardless of what is offered you,,do NOT give up your DB user name to any site you order from.

Obviously this is apparent to the oldtimers,,but wanted to reinforce this dire warning for the newer members.

Not to mention all the posts show up on the great information highway. Take someones user name that is distinct. google that name and you see all the posts.... Never disclose. I had one person even copy my pm to them and post them out in the open when they got angry at something I replied to. (they have since apologized) So don't do it. It is in your best interest. Listento admin and the others.

Heck Yeah!

I have googled my username and seen things that shouldnt be seen by others.

Imagine if the OCS does the same? They can dig up dirt you never thought was possible. Uh,like your real name, address which you have already given them, dang they can even pull up a credit check, last address, criminal background and the list goes on..

I cannot stress this enough,,,Never give your user name to any service you are using! Trust Admin, they know what the freak their talking about!

Exactly,,

The oldtimers have learned, which I will share,Never give your user name to an OPS,as Admin has repeatedly stressed.

Yes,we can be googled under our user names(bots on the internet) but no one knows who you are unless you give them(OPS/friends) this particular data.

Dang,,please use caution. After all, this is part of the internet. I can't stress this enough.

You should also never use the same username/avatar at different sites, either. If someone wants to search you, like Jeremiah said - they'll google your screen name or identify your avatar at other message boards. Besides, DrugBuyers is a public site and anyone from the search engines can look up your postings and read though the threads.

...And never give your screen name to an IOP. That's just asking for problems.
