Because of the difficulty of sleeping with DDD, pillows don't help, they hurt, heat rarely, and massage kills. Ambien helps, a little. With good insurance, the tier of Ambien costs me $70 for a months supply. That is my co-pay. It is extremely costly. And until the patent is gone, there is no generic, and it will remain the most expensive med I order, or take, prescrbed by my doc. There is an ad on TV for a free trial of Ambien CR. I'm gonna do it. One week less of paying is almost $17.oo Yay!

I grew to *love* ambien after my first dose. I was suffering from a week-long insomnia. When I don't sleep, I lose my appetite and wasn't eating either. By the time I finally went to the doc for it, I could barely hold myself up.. I was exhausted and weak. She sent me home with 10 ambien and I took 2 right away. I was skeptical that it wouldn't work because my body is very much used to taking sedatives and depressants. After 15 minutes, my computer screen starting looking really weird.. pictures on the 'net were suddenly 3D, letters were swirling and coming off the screen. I don't know why, at the time, I thought my dad would see the same thing if he looked at it, but he did not, of course, and he told me I was going to ruin my monitor if I didn't stop stroking it. I was trippin'... I guess 2 was overkill. I don't remember anything after that... I fell asleep in the living room for 12 hours. Oh, it felt so good to finally sleep!!!

Simp - I'm searching for just ambien sources as well. Would you consider a IOP source? budgetmedicines.com has relatively cheap prices for ambien - $55 for #30, and $109 for #60. They take CCs online, shipping is FREE, and orders ship within 48 hours, and the packages usually get to your house within 5-21 days, with the average being 10 days. Another user mentioned that she has ordered from them 3 times, and has never had a problem with the company. Now, if you're looking to buy from NROPs, be prepared to pay $150, if not more, plus those lovely, exorbitant S&H fees. If you find a better deal somewhre out there - Let us know!
