Flaming/Flame Wars: Flaming is reacting to posts or PM's in a hostile manner by publicly chastising the person or bombarding the person with nasty posts or PM's. Flaming may occur to users that engage in behavior that violates what is considered proper board netiquette. A flame war occurs when two or more users hit each other in an escalating manner that threatens to continue unabated. If you notice a flame war developing just notify the moderator or adminitrator and let them handle it. Do not take part in flame wars. If you do you will be banned even if you did not start it :-)
I went to a football game the other day with a in law that was in the fbi and we walked past some people smoking bud and he said "D*mn havent smelled that in a while"
LE doesnt care if they break the law only if someone they dont know does.
I heard that they are kept in a storage room for up to a year and then destroyed after a year. I heard that Katrina victims got alot of seized medications and other counterfeit items. When I read that in the paper it made me feel better that my seized meds were going to a good cause and not in some federal agents mouth. LOL! But it would also suck if the Katrina victims got some crappy pills that werent even real.
Quote Sara : "I have a question. What happens to the packages that have been seized??? I did not have anything seized, got my meds before all this stuff went down.
Where do these packages end up??? Are the destroyed??? Just curious......."
Seized meds are incinerated. Whenever they (DEA) get around to it.
Normally, it should be every 90 days. But honestly, it's whenever they get around to it. Sometimes as long as 6 months.
It's witnessed by a federal agent (DEA), a local LEA (police from the town the destruction occurs) and an agent from the confiscating agency/company (Customs, shipping companies, etc).
