This is a true story, all concerning one box of panadeine.

2 days ago, I order one box, total price 22.70 US dollars. My usual price. The next day my bank calls and tells me I'm overdrawn. I go to the bank and discover that I've been charged twice for the meds, 45.40. That overcharge, plus a rent check and power bill all came in at once and put me a whole 9 dollars under zero. Now, if they'd only charged me just the one time for the pana, I'd have been ok and still above zero balance, until the next day, my paycheck day. The bank does honor my debts at least, but puts a 29 dollar overdraft fee on me, plus a 5 dollar late fee because I don't get my paycheck till after 3pm the next day into their bank. So at this point in the story, I'm taken to the tune of 61.70, for that one box of pana. Then....it gets REALLY fun!

I get a dialogue going with a customer rep at their company named Jared. Nice guy, so far. But he insists that they only sent a 40 NZD(New Zealand) charge to my bank, which should have been changed at my bank to 22.70, with the differences in currency exchange rates. I then tell him that it's listed twice. He doesn't seem to believe me, and asked me to get a fax from my bank sent to him that would show this to him. (I'm paraphrasing some of this, only because the sheer length of all of the replies of ours that I have saved from the past 2 days is mind boggling....over one dang box of pana!!!)

I get the info he asked for at the bank and here comes more fun. The bank doesn't do international faxes, so I have to drive in the pouring rain for an hour until I find a place that does. For that one fax to him, I'm out another 12.72. Total cost to me now is up to 74.42......for one stinking box of pana.

I faxed him the info he asked for and it clearly shows what I had said all along. It was charged as 2 different orders, 22.70 each in US Dollars, one was timed at 1410 hours, the next at 1420 hours. The wierder thing is that they both have different authorization codes. I've never seen that before.

I passed along this info to him by noon CST today in the USA, and I do know that his time over there is quite alot different than ours. But by now, it's their day shift time, and he or someone at his offices should have given me the courtesy of a reply. Nothing so far.

And get this. I'm not asking them for a CC charge back, or anything free added due to all of the money I'm now out. All I've been asking since it all started was just to send me the second box of panadeine that it's now very clear I've been charged for. PROVEN the hard way that it's paid for.

Am I really asking for too much????

I'd used this company for panadeine and nurophen plus 6 previous times, and I've never had one bad experience with cc chargings. I really liked their product and decent delivery time.

The first order that they did agree they DO owe me has already been shipped yesterday, so I will get that one. But if they do not make this right and send a second box I've already been charged for......gee, there's a TON of other places that sell the exact same two meds at nearly the same prices.

But I have a sneaking feeling that even with the real facts staring them right in their faces, I'll never see that second box. I will in the end have purchased THE most expensive box of panadeine in the history of mankind.

If I wasn't so angry, I'd have to laugh about it.

Has anyone else here had any problems with this company. Just curious. PM if you'd rather.

Wildcat, wow! What a frustrating experience. I had a hairdresser double charge me for a cut just the other day and I *do* know how it can mess up your bank account. I called my bank immediately and it was credited back to my account yesterday. Also, pm me if you like.. There is another OP that I've never been charged more than $14 (US) for a box of Panadiene and it arrives in about 7 days. Once again, so sorry for your awful experience!

Consider this situation handled, and to my liking. The rep Jared got back with me and made it right. He's sending me a second box of panadiene.
There's still the issue of whether it was his bank or mine that hasn't been resolved, but that's not important to me anymore. When I get my bank statement soon, I'll see if it charged me twice or not.
But since they've spent emormous amounts of time and effort to work with me on fixing this, I have to say they are A-OK.

Safe to order from. Thumbs up!

As for all of the rest of the dough I'm out, I'll just take that hit. Call it a bad luck learning experience, amd move on. Life's too short to stay frustrated all of the time.
