I'm really liking the new board. I do have one question. I use a laptop computer and find that on the entrance page I have to scroll from left to right to read it. Not a big deal, just a minor annoyance. Occasionally while I'm on the forum I also have to scroll from left to right, but not all the time. Is this because I'm using a small laptop or do other people have to scroll that way as well? Scrolling down is much easier

I've asked this same question in a different thread. Most forums are normal but some have to be scrolled sideways. I've tried different settings in My Home and on my pc. 800X600, 1024X768, 1220X780 no difference. Don't know why DB doesn't respond to these types of questions.

Same here - on the entrance page I always have to scroll, and I'm using a desktop.

Once in awhile on the threads, I'll have to scroll too. Maybe it's just a little glitch DB will correct soon.

Not a glitch but caused by the pharmacy advertisement banners at the bottom of all board pages viewed..Pillstore.com and DietPrescriptions.com banners are forcing the horizontal scroll bar to appear..DB should use the "br" (return) tag to line up all the banners over each other rather than next to each other...JMO of course....

If viewing this board using the 1024x768 setting, the board appears fine...Actually it's perfect..No horizontal scroll bar is visible..

But if lots of members are using the 800x600 setting, DB might need to consider the following changes:

At the bottom I would line up the banners by doing the following:

dietprescriptions.jpg 'br'
pillstore.gif 'br'
125x125escript.gif (no return tag) and then usalogo.gif

The last two mentioned banners should be okay side-by-side..If not, use the 'br' tag...

We do not have a good answer to this problem.

It is not a problem related to desktops or laptops but rather browsers, box content, and screen definition...



Somehow the boxes at the entrance page have a life and change according to their content.



They also show different in different browsers.



Right now all boxes at the entrance page look perfect from here (MS Explorer browser.)



Please give us more details and we will see what we can do.

Well...I just went to the entrance page so I could give you more detail and wouldn't ya know it's perfect?? All lined up perfectly in my little laptop screen and no scrolling required (except down.) Whatever you did fixed it on my PC. I also use Internet Explorer 6.0.
