My first was from a IOP in New Zealand about 98, after several orders and then I got a package with a tape all over it saying 'opened by US Customs' in my mail box with a letter inside,, and all the enpty pill boxes and instructions...I conntacted the company with a pic of the letter, tape ect and the empty boxes and then they resend the whole order free of charge ...with DHL my next was from Italy,, and I recieved many orders...keeping it the size of a CD and they were all taped togeather with the boxes, broken down over the pills, and tapped again.... then a L letter came.....from Newack NJ.... I used another mailing addy for about a year, and had great luck with the company, and then another LL....then the DEA seized their paypal account,,,,, then about a year later.....after not ordering from any one,,overseas( I switched to one of the best here) I got a LL from Chicago office of Customs.... so as usual....I just burned it up!!! I know Im on a list....but ain't we all! one way or the other!

I wonder if it has to do with the care, and quality of the packaging. I know that raj, thou it is irritating, uses that blue stuff. Do you think it throws off anything that smells, or x-rays?
Other than that, it's just fun wrapping paper. Ordered from the man 4 times, in a year. Batting 500. Plus sorta have a crush on him. He is so kind.

I think it is still a felony to receive any amount of controlled meds from overseas.
there is nothing illegal about americans purchasing needed meds overseas, controlled or not, as long as we are in compliance with applicable u.s. law (90 day/55 dose).
it is illegal to IMPORT controlled meds from overseas without a license. so if you are buying meds overseas for RESALE, be sure you fill out an application, pay the fee and get youself a license!
there's a real good reason nobody's getting arrested for LEGALLY ordering 90 day supplies of needed meds from overseas...

That law is ONLY APPLICABLE IF YOU ARE PHYSICALLY CROSSING AN INTERNATIONAL BORDER WITH THAT AMOUNT IN HAND. It is illegal to receive ANY amount via any method other than the individual to whom it is prescribed in another country actually carrying the 90 day/55 dose total ON THIER PERSON into the US. ANY, REPEAT ANY, shipment, mail, or other type of 3rd party delivery of ANY type of medication listed by FDA or controlled by DEA or both may not be imported without an offical DEA import liscence. PERIOD. There is NO 90 day amout exception, nor is there a 55 dose exception, nor is there any other loophole that allows the thrid party importation of any medication. IT IS ILLEGAL, and as the DB Rules say that discussing or encouraging illegal activity is not tolerated, I am still stumped as to why any discussion of IOPs is allowed at all. They are dangerous, unreliable, and there is no recourse about the quantity or quality of the meds they sell.
THEY ARE ILLEGAL. SORRY.

55? Where did you get that from? The number is 50. The original law took effect in 1998 and it *allowed* (affirmatively) a returning U.S. resident to bring up to 50 dose units of a controlled substance "without a valid prescription" through a "land border," and we have only two.
And what's with the "felony"? As i've told you all a million times, illegal simple possession of a controlled substance is a federal misdemeanor if there are no priors. Federal prosecutors have better things to do with their time than prosecute misdemeanors.
When people are prosecuted for obtaining controlled substances after accepting a controlled delivery, they've been charged by their state with possession or poss. w. intent (under their state's laws), because many states will allow a felony charge of poss. w. intent based simply on the quantity ... i.e. they *infer* intent to distribute if a person has more than, in some cases, a very small amount. Some of those threshold quantities can be as small as having 50 pills of a C-II like Codeisan (Class A felony in HI i believe), or they can go by the gram weight of the "total mixture," whichever way gets them the more serious charge. Take cough syrup for example, well, it weighs a lot compared to pills, so a 200-ml liter bottle of a C-III cough syrup like Tussionex could mean many years of prison time in some places because 200-ml of that syrup with the time-release would probably weigh more than 8 ounces (water would be ~7.0 ounces). That's half a pound of a mixture containing a C-III drug. You're toast!
