shane,
when did yours go out smoothly?
you can't get through via their web site, i've faxed, e-mailed and called REPEATEDLY since thurs. all i got was the e-mail about them having issues with the dr and a family emergency
I ordered my refill through SWMG's web site like always on May 16th. I put in the Comments section to call me when ready to pick up. Universal called me the next morning and I picked it up around noon. There was noting at all out of the ordinary.
I wish there was more I could say or do to help. It seems there are a few people having trouble getting through?
I would definitely not waste your time calling UniversalRx as they are not a regular walk in pharmacy and there is no CS staff to answer phones.
I would keep trying with SWMG. Make them earn their $15.

Cleve.....
Back when I used SWMG, I used my CC, and went to do my refill.... and after checking my CC online, it never showed the $15 admin fee, and it didn't show the medication cost either.... it was right at the cut off time too.... so I called SWMG, and got that rude girl who told me my CC was declined.... WHAT? I told her I had plenty of credit available, and to do it again.... now this was just for the $15 admin fee.... and she did it again.... and she said, "Ma'am, it came back declined, I just did it while we are on the phone"... and I told her, she must be doing something wrong, because it's all fine on my side.....
So, she finally did it again, and it finally went thru.... no problems!
BUT.... it was now after the cut off time, and the RUDE girl tells me in a rude voice, "don't blame me for YOUR credit card being declined"
WHAT????
obviously, it was a problem with their machine, or something she did wrong... because after the 3rd time, it worked!!!
I asked her if my order was going to go out that day, and she said it was now 5 minutes after the cut off time, and there was nothing she could do.... I asked her, very very politely, even though she was being short, and rude with me... (she knew she screwed up) I asked if she could contact Universal, and ask them to push this one thru.... she said no, she wouldn't.....
Now, there used to be a very nice person working there, who would go any extra mile for customers.... Don't know what happend to her.
Also, I was never contacted for this problem, otherwise, I would have tried to take care of it sooner, and could have got my order out when it was supposed to.
This was the last and final reason why I left SWMG, I felt paying $15 admin fee for this was sooooo not worth it.
I actually was thinking about going back with them after all the Hoo Ha Ha I'm going thru with PMC.... but after reading these posts.... Don't wanna.....
I'm going to have to do some research and some more reading to find out who to use next....
It's getting kinda scary out there in the OP world.... Hope it all gets fixed by the end of next month.

I've been with SWMG a while now, and I gotta say that after everything I've read here over the past three years that they've been just about as stable as an ROP can be. I had a refill available this past Wednesday the 24th. Yes, it took quite a while on the ol' speed dial to get through but I expected that. I'm not sure what went down but thanks to the board here I at least had a heads up. Anyway, I get through and a very nice and obviously very weary lady explained that scripts had to be rewritten and that my refill would be one day late. Well, as promised, they arrived Friday morning. Rather than be part of the mass panic, I placed just that one call and trusted in the fact that I've always been told the truth by their customer service. Lucky for me, their CS is still batting 1.000%. Over the course of my time with them, there have been three incidents. All have been well documented and I'm not gonna unearth them because SWMG fixed the problem each time. IMHO, they did a FANTASTIC job fixing whatever went wrong. They had thousands of scripts to rewrite and my meds were only delayed ONE DAY. SWMG allows refills 23 days after your script is filled. And if your refill falls on the weekend, they ship Friday so you'll have meds by Monday. Now as far as I know, that's the shortest time allowed under the law and I always refill ASAP just in case of such an emergency and therefore I had plenty in the bank to cover the one day. One important thing is the fact that they DIDN'T have to switch pharmacies, and most perhaps important, the doc writing the new scripts has been with them all the while so it's not like they had to hunt down just anyone to keep the ball rolling. I don't know what happened to doc#1, but at least his departure didn't stop them from doing business. The only negative issues I have had have to do with the pharmacy. The price of meds went up $20 without warning in Janury and the pharmacy keeps shipping UPS Next Day Air instead of Next Day Air Saver as I always request which costs me an extra few bucks each time out and it does add up over a year. And yes, there was a time I was thinking of switching, but I decided to stay. Thank god because without mentioning any names, the ROP I was thinking of going to is currently having big problems of their own. The thing is that no organization is imune. Things happen that can't be forseen which is why you really have to look closer at HOW problems are dealt with when they do arise in the first place. In finality though and from what I know of other ROPs, SWMG is as trustworthy as it gets these days and they'll have my business as long as ROPs exist.

I ordered my second refill on June 8th the same way I ordered my previous refill. Universal called my on June 9th around noon and I went and picked it up around 4pm. No problems.
Everything looks fine at the pharmacy, same as always.
Also, someone posted earlier that they refill at 23 days? That is not true. It has always been 25 days and still is.
They will allow you to place your order at 20 days but will not ship it until day 25.
Quote:
PLEASE READ CAREFULLY - Refills may be requested after 20 days to be shipped out on the 25th day. If your refill order date falls on a Sunday or Holiday your order may be shipped out Friday for Monday or Tuesday delivery. If your refill date falls on a Saturday then your order can be shipped on Friday for Saturday delivery. You must select Saturday delivery under shipping details when placing your refill order.
I don't know why other are having problems but I have been to Universal twice since May 17th and nothing looks any different.
I would have to think the problem is with SWMG, not UniversalRx. Just a guess though.
Sorry I can't be of more help.

Ok, so what do you think of this. A friend of mine at work uses these guys. I told her not to order from them right now. She had her re-consult on Wednesday, website said on Thursday, order on hold at Pharmacy, will be shipped 6/16. OK, I told her I had to swallow my words about them....then on Friday afternoon, she went in to check the website, it said now "ORDER ON HOLD AT PHARMACY, WILL SHIP 7/9/06" What the $&$#$$#($& ???? Ok, she called the pharmacy and wonder of wonders talked to a guy, who told her no problem, that he saw the meds and they were going out ok on 6/16, (even tho the website still said 7/9)...well she didn't get a tracking # last night or today, can't track on UPS by first initial, last name and zip, the website remains unchanged, still says on hold at pharmacy, will ship 7/9, so what do you think about that? Her 25 days were up today, so it should have indeed shipped on Friday for delivery on Monday (day 27). Should she believe the pharmacy? Would the pharmacy BS her? Why wouldn't she get a tracking#? She can't check her bank, they don't show the transactions yet, she was charged for the consult though. What do you guys think? I think she is screwed. Buy...why would the pharmacy guy lie to her? I guess she can just wait until Monday and see if they come or not. Anyone else get meds without getting a tracking#? Of course SWMG didn't answer her calls (She and I were both trying with cell phones and home phones - 4 phones calling and no answer from them!) Just curious what you guys think about that? Joy

I been trying to call a few times a day and its goes to there full voice mail box, I have 2 refills I can not get. I was do one back on May 24th and I am sure others are waiting for threes as well, !!really sad!!
I do not have time for this, I have gone else where to a rop I used in the past, the PA said my records are old (was able to get 2 scrips with no refills, happy to get that) so I went out and got new records of which I need to fax over, before they will release my refills.
Not sure whats going on with SWMG there doctor is very good, would spend up to 15 minuets talking to me to make sure I getting the right meds, asking me what am I doing to help my back problem other than just taking meds, that more than I would get out of my local doctor, that's scared to give out any meds of pain or anxiety, I do not need any free samples of Tylenol or SSR's that do not work on me.
There is and other post about how easy it is to get med on the Internet, I only use rop's, and I see that the PA do care about there patients health and well-being by making sure that are proscribing the right meds for them, by making sure they have there records and that they are updated.
Edit: At this time there phone lines are dead, is anyone able to call and talk to anyone?
