I went on SWMG's new web site to order a new Consultation. I had a problem when I got to the page where you chose an appointment time. All of the appointment slots were grayed out for every appointment through Wednesday. The openings are supposed to be marked in green.
So, I sent them one email to SWMG telling them what the problem was at about 7am this morning.
I got a phone call from SWMG at 11:00am today and they did everything manually for me over the phone and gave me a consult time for later today.
I had my consult and just checked my order and have a tracking number. I normally pick my orders up but I am out of town and doing a drop ship. Tracking shows my order is on its way to the drop ship address
The new site seems to have some beginner's bugs to be worked out. But, SWMG has always been Top Notch for me and they continue to be just as Superb as ever.

I received my package today. I ordered and paid for the cheapest delivery, $12, on Friday and received it today, Monday. But was a bit shocked to see I was charged $155 for the consult.

YIKES! Another ROP has raised their Consult Fee! SWMG is now $155! Who will be next?
Actually, SWMG has raised their overall take by $10. They used to charge $100 for the consult and then another $15 as an "admin. fee" for each of the three fills you'd get as you had them filled. That was a grand total of $145 during the life of the script. Now they charge a flat $155 up front and you no longer pay the $15 admin. fee with each fill. All in all, no matter how you do the math, the consult fee IS $155 which is a $10 increase. And earlier this year, the pharmacy jacked up the prices about $20 per fill. I love figuring out economics!

I used SW for over 4 years. It seemed that there have been many new problems in the past year or so and that it has cost me more money and stress than ever before. I started e-mailing and calling to confirm certain things such as delivery charges for Sat. which was never delivered until Monday, refills that were deleted, credits due to me which I was supposed to get on my next consult, delays unexplained, etc.... I did my consult with their new dr., who is very nice and knowledgeable, Wed., received my persc. and a verification call from Universal the next day, stating my order would be sent both meds together on the 30th priority overnight, as I usually do. On Friday I checked my e-mail and there was a note from support as SW, there was some generic letter stating I had been suspended and no longer was able to use the service because of "investigative questions, inaccurate information, etc." I do not understand how they can do this to me after being a loyal and diligent customer for so many years. Regardless, I still have not received the credit charged for the consult but my patient account no longer exists. The only thing I can say is that the cust. svc. agents are completely rude and uncaring and they are on a power trip being able to delete a loyal long term customer. I hope anyone looking to use them thinks twice...

I just thought I'd post about my latest experience with SWMG. I know that they had some problems and re-reading this thread it seems that alot of people got messed with. Sorry to hear that for those that did not like SWMG. I have been with them for about a year now. Just had my 4th consult. The female doc is such an articulate, nice, compassionate and truly friendly person,,its hard not to keep using them. I had to use another service before and the phone call consisted of "OK, what is it you want?" "We'll get that to you. END of discussion. The Dr. at SWMG (the female, I dont think we are supposed to name names) spent probably 10 - 15 minutes with me just chatting. About my new job interview, experience is my career, etc. :My own doc doesnt even do that. Anyway, I just wanted to pass along that they seem to have their problems worked out,,,,the new online chat is really cool. I consulted Wed.,,, just checked, the plane is landing here where I live probably as I type. Have a great day. Oh yeah, I'm still figuring out this posting stuff and have recently discovered how fun the smileys can be. so, this is how I feel at 6:00 CST.

I've been with SWMG for a long time. I had a good consult with the new doc, too, she was really helpful, actually, with the exception of telling me that if I'm not forcing at least half of my body weight in water then I'm dehydrated. I've had migraines for so long, I really do know what works and what doesn't to control them. She pretty much forced me to buy a script of vitamin B2, which I've tried. I know there is some science about it working, but for me it's like trying to take out an elephant with a single bb gun shot.
Anyway, I got a call from SW yesterday stating that they knew I'd be needing a refill soon, and that they had a new doc (don't know if they are male or female) and that I have to get a new consult??? They said no charge, and that I'd still get my 2 refills, but I had to speak with the current doc. That seems rather odd to me.
But, whatever, I guess. I think it's really, really sad that we have to go to these measures to have our pain treated. I've had docs tell me, "well, we don't want you to become addicted" - well, if I were truly addicted then I think I'd be having withdrawals on days that I can make it through without taking any meds.
And if I WERE addicted? Why is it anyone's business but my own? If it gives me the quality of life that I deserve, then why do they really care? It keeps me able to remain self employed as a respected Accountant and keeps me off of disability.
I realize there are people who fake things and whatever, but the controls on the medications are ridiculous if you ask me. I'd love to see any of those docs who think I'm addicted manage a day in my life, or walk in my shoes and see what life is like with Lyme Disease, ungodly adhesions, severe migraines, back pain, and deep bone and muscle pain and still maintain a household let alone the office with the many, many things we do here besides accounting. Sorry for the rambling! I guess I get frustrated!
Good health to everyone! Have a wonderful day!
