Nashman,,This was the very first OP I tried and they couldn't even get the portamedic to me. For the last 2 1/2 to 3 weeks, I have tried and tried to call (only get a recording) and sent numerous e-mails (they won't respond). I did get one e-mail about 5 days ago saying they would get the problem fixed with the portamedic company but haven't heard a thing. I finally went with MWW who were courtious and timely. Consult on 6/13 and meds via Fedex on 6/14. I finally called my CC company and they're doing a charge reversal on PC.com. From what I have seen through personal experience, I will not go to them in the future even though I have read some good things about them from some of you on the boards. Just my two cents worth.

Nash, of all the OPs I've used over the years, NONE has ever messed up so many times with so many things!!! PC.com has double-billed my cc (they finally reversed one of the charges), they've sent the package to the wrong address, charged my cc when it should have been COD, sent the wrong meds, their price list on their web page never matches up with the actual costs, they have absolutely NO customer service and zero communication when there's a problem (and there's ALWAYS a problem), their instructions to J&M pharmacare are frequently wrong (like meds must last 60 days when it should be 15 days), they indicate -0- refills when it should be 3 refills and they charge an arm-and-a-leg for their meds (like $2.17 per capsule for a generic that normally costs .85 cents at other OPs.

I'm SO sorry about what they did to you . . . . You deserve better than that. I have one more refill with them and then I will NEVER go through them again.

I think we got mixed up. I was referring to PrescriptionConsultationOnline.com (PC.com) I've always gotten next day with them, and never had any problems except for a delay in shipping when they were chaning pharmacies.

sweetz - The post I screwed up was the 6/19 one to you where I was referring to PrescriptionOnLine - not PrescriptionConsultation!!! That's why I sent you a PM saying I was SO SORRY!!!

But, the post to Nash on 6/22 was correct - I was definately talking about PrescriptionConsultation.com.

Well, they came through again, as usual. Ordered a refill through the web on weds., meds arrived friday, that was with 3 day select UPS mailing (it always comes in 2 and not 3).

This site is one of the biggest ripoffs I have seen. I have used OPs for three years now and this one will double bill you, slow delivery, no customerservice. I would advise to just stay away from them. They aren't long for this business anyway. I think they treat one in ten like a true customer and the rest just want your money. I think they give you good service until your refills re up and then look out!.

I have been using PC.com for about 1 year now and have always been happy with their quick reliable service....(yes, here it comes....) until now.

I recently submitted an order to PC.com, which was approved processed and my credit card charged 9 days ago but NEVER shipped!

During the past 5 days I have sent 4 emails to their customer support address (last time out of frustration, I copied it to every email alias at PC.com) and have left two phone messages...ALL have gone unanswered.

They were good enough to charge me for the meds as well double charge me for the shipping within one day of recept of my order, yet they do not feel the need to reply to my emails/phone calls. I even went so far as to call the issuing pharmacy (in miami) but they have yet to recieve the order...so there is nothing they can do about it.
(however it was nice to speak to a live person..even though they could not help!) [color:"yellow"]

PC.com does have technical difficulties every once and awhile, but this time seems to be very big. In addition to not shipping my order - my refils info (current and history) is completly messed up on their site.

[color:"yellow"] I would recomend new folks hold off on from signing up and ordering from PC.com until they can get their technical and customer service act together.

As for me....I fear I will have to work through my credit card company to get the charges reversed as I am not holding my breath anylonger for PC.com to contact me.

I used to be a very satisfied customer of their service. The biggest disapointment is not the delay in shipping..but is the fact that they are not responding to my emails/phone calls.

Has anybody else recently had problems with PC.com like I have?

wow - I went through some of the other past posts (i am new to this board) and I think I have answered my own question
"Has anyone else had problems like this"

seems like a lot of folks have.

As much as I hate to do it...I think I will have to bite the bullet and exercise my redial finger as from other posts this seems like the only way to get ahold of a live body at PC.com

good news!

someone at PC.com actually CALLED me! Perhaps their customer service has impoved in the last few days or maybe it was the fact that in my last email I told them if I did not hear from them I was going to contact the Texas Attorney General's Internet Division and the FTC to file complaints

in any case a very helpful person sorted out my problem and said my order was going to ship on Monday. Better late than never I guess.

so the moral of this story is:

the squeaky wheel gets oiled (and it does not hurt to threaten them with the authorities to get what you want if you are being ignored)

wow! I've been with them for almost 9 months and never had a problem except when they switched pharmacies. My refills get there the day after I request, if I want Next day delivery and 2 days later, if I request 3 day delivery. If Ineed a new script, I do submit it 3-4 days in advance. never had a problem with their tracking system either.

Once, I had selected COD, but it was charged on the Cc that was previously in the system. I called them (yes, major redial) and they removed the charged, no problem at all.

I hope all these bad experiences are not going to become the norm

you know, I was surpirzed at this screw up myself.
Like I said in my orginal post - I've been using them
for almost a year and never had anything like this happen either.

the worst PC.com has ever done before this is send me double of my meds (and only charge me for 1 - with out reducing the refils - that's a screw up I can live with )

yes I agree with you and will keep my fingers crossed - I hope this latest experience does not become the norm.

I am a fairly new client of PC.com, and I don't think that these problems will be the norm. I have been very pleased at their service so far. rule of thumb with these guys is.. you have to be a little patient. For instance, on my first consult with these guys they double billed me for the consult (extra $50 bucks) So I emailed them and 2 days later the situation 2 was taken care of... I didn't have to call or email them 50 thousand times, just once.

I think that they are very busy, and if you just let them know what the problem is they will fix it. JMO

Is this a good OP? I'm considering trying them, since Getrx went kaput.

In the long run, yes it is a good OP but you'd better have lots and lots and lots of patience and don't expect any customer service.

Once you're set up in their computer system and had your first consult, then you'll be okay!

Well, that sucks. I hope they aren't going downhill. Well, obviously *something* is not right, with all these problems.

I just wonder if they'll make me do another portamedic visit this year. In one place on their website they said it is a one time thing. On another place,it says it's a once a year thing. guess I'll have to just wait and see. I've had very reliable results with them.

pfree - You're NOT out any $. As I've previously posted, their customer service is zip but. . . . they always come through!!

Anyone with any problems, just keep calling them via redial until you get through to a real person . . . which you eventually will . . . and go from there!

Patience, grasshopper!!!

Well I got a tad testy with the people of PC.com and today the new owner gave me a call. There will be mostly new staff from this week on. Give them a few days to get people trained and I think they are goin to be all right. The new owner had no idea the cust service had gotten this bad. At least I feel a little better about them now. All the idiots had to do was tell us what was going on. But I also found out that most of the employees are young kids so that didn't help either. Anyway, I hope I have helped get us one of what I thought was one of the better places back on track. Just to be on the safe side, give them a few days to get the new people lined out.
Peace,
bob

The question is are they going to be "business as usual" or close too? or are the people who are expecting refills going to be put on hold??
