Does anyone know what state these guys are out of? Or where the doctors are out of? I live in a very small town, and their doctor's office asked me if I went to a certain school here, and he knew the school's mascout. It's a very tiny high school. I wasn't in high school anymore when I moved here, but I do know of the school, so it kind of makes me wonder who I was actually talking too. Not to mention the fact I was put on hold 3 times and talked to three different people, with none of them knowing who I was until I got to the last guy who made the school comment. Am I just being paranoid or does that seem strange to anybody else?

I wouldn't sweat it -- no reason to be paranoid. That is just absurd -- here you are on the phone ready for your consultation (probably a bit nervous) and some guy starts talking about your local school mascot! That is just ridiculous...it would throw me off too...

I dunno,
Maybe he was just trying to make you feel more at ease about the whole thing?I had a consult w/YFD(a long time ago),and the dr there used to say REALLY odd things to me,like asking how much I weighed& how tall I was,and upon finding out, commented that I "must be the one on top during sex" Now THATS inappropriate!LMAO-and my dh HEARD HIM!

Betcha' he was just trying to see if you were lying on your application about being a High School graduate! Just kidding,no harm meant..as stranger things HAVE happened and TO me,it IS a small world. I was in Vegas once at a casino cashier's counter, filling out papers..the lady said "have you ever heard of such and such of grammar school on such and such an Air Force Base?"..(me)"YEP!,I went there"..She says.."I was your classmate Forty something years ago!..do you remember me?..I saw & remembered your name! Absolutely true story..as I said..it is a very small world..very small indeed. You'll be fine..this situation has us all upset and a little jumpy. It'll be okay..hang-in..

Limber, I just wanted to comment on your post. You had some good points. I worry a lot with all the changes with ops and hope like everyone else nothing happens to the reliable ops that are legit and require records. Oh and I have a scanner, thats where I piched up unidenbearcat, nothing to do with anything else, I do like listening to fire and who is getting tn trouble. I live in a small town.

I received my meds this afternoon. All accounted for, actually I got 1 extra pill. I have a couple of questions if anyone may know. How does NWW do there refills, do they e-mail? And after how many days can you request them? Also on my accounton NWW it says no refills until Dec 31, 1899. Wierd anyone else have this? I hope the 90 day rule bulls_ _ _. refers to ops that don't require records. Have a pain free day. unidenbearcat.

how strict are they on records, and how soon do you have to get them in?"

Rowana, I recently had a consult with NWW so I can answer your question. The consult was very quick and to the point. They are strict on records and would not ship my prescriptions until I faxed them over. They prefer that you send the records prior to the consult.

"They dont need them for initial consult, but will need to fax them before you get any of your refills."

I dont think that is true anymore. I had a consult two weeks ago and they would not send the meds until I faxed records.

Fedex is great with 2 day service, you will usually get it in 1 day and you can always go to the hub if you have to, though thats usually a waste of time and if you can't take the risk, overnight it. UPS is horrible and never does anything to speed deliveries. 2 days is always 2 days and they come so late and times are sporadic.

Dont bank on that. I know people who didn't get anything till they provided legal records.
If you do things acording to what their proceedures you should be fine. No reson to take a chance at turning your order into a big hassle.

I find just the opposite UPS is always great and Fed Ex always screws up!! I recently had a package next day by noon Fed Ex. In tracking I found that it left Orlando went to Memphis and then BACK to Orlando!! Sat in Orlando for another day and I finally recieved it at about 4:30 2 days later!! Another time I had a package same thing next day by noon and about 3pm a taxi pulls up a lady gets out and flings it like a frisbee onto my porch and leaves!! They are awful!!!! IMO But UPS has always been on time and more than courtesy drivers.

Hello,

I was wondering what type of records this places needs, I could only get a paper with doctors recommendations not to lift or do any major activity, like push or lift more than 5 pounds, and the order is also for an MRI which I got and it showed my injury, but for some reason I can't obtain the MRI results. I also have a paper showing the ER doctor gave me Vicodin, the medicine I am seeking, but he only gave me 20 pills and it has been two weeks, so I am out of pills and my family doctor does not give out narcotics, and every other doctor can't see me for a month or more. So I am looking for a good place for one or two months. Are my records good enough, or is there another company (not aaameds) that allows you to send in records after your first fill? I should have full results after I see my next doctor. Also, will they give me 10/325 or 10/500 and Valium or Soma, or don't they do that?

Please let me know if NWW would accept this as records. Also, who are the docs there and the pharmacy? Also, is this place about the same price as other OP's and as dependable? Thank you everybody, I am new here and need some help.

I talked to Angela and ask her about my records right after I faxed them in. I ask her if they were specific enough, the time cut off and so forth. I will not post exactly what she said, but after hearing what she said, I can tell you with certainty, that the records you described, along with a phote ID, should work fine.

Take care,

CadMan1

According to their site, I have a refill due date of 11/17 and I have completeded thier refill form and all. Does this mean I will receice my meds on the 17th or are they will just be shipped on the 17th. I know why but there has been a lot of confusion with this refill. I have completed the forms 3 times but have not a had a response.

Thank you for your help and experience.

In my experience, the refill ships on the 17th. One time, I actually got the refill on the date it said to refill, but I think that was a fluke. Good luck.

VicodinDream, you can pretty much count on it that they will ask for some records in your next transaction with them. I also had not given them anything as far as records and did business with them for months. And then in the last couple of weeks I had to provide records and photo ID.

If people would have been discreet and not posted without thinking of the consequences of their actions, we wouldn't be having this issue/ conversation right now.
If we keep it up maybe we can shut them and everyone else that helps those of us in pain DOWN !

NWW clearly states in their Terms of Service that they require faxed ID and medical records. If somehow they 'forget about you' and do not realize that you have not done these things, then you should immediately fax some records and your ID for 2 reasons :

1) Because you agreed to the Terms of Service when you signed up, and by not following their Rules, you are basically violating your contract with the OP, which gives them the right to cut their end of the contract at anytime as well ('cut you off')

2) If you want them to stay in business, then follow the Rules, and give them the records that they NEED TO STAY IN BUSINESS. If you 'slip thru the cracks' and they don't realize for some weird chance, that you have not sent anything, then inform of their mistake and send in your info. If you want OP's to keep existing, be a da*n adult for godsakes.

These OP's NEED OUR RECORDS so that when they are audited they are following protocol. Can that be any clearer? Do you want to go to your favorite restaurant and then skip out on the check, so that you can never eat their again?? Come on, people, get a clue!!

Hi,
I had my first consultation with NWW today and have questions for those of you who have ordered with them in the past.
I faxed over my id and medical records. I talked to the doctor for my consultation. He told me that he would send me a 30 day supply of Norco which is 30 pills with 2 refills. I asked him for 90 Norco. He said "30 pills with two refills is 90." I laughed and decided not to push it.
They charged me the price listed on the website for 90 Norco.
My question: Does this mean I have paid for my two refills, or that I will be charged this price $82 each time for 30 Norco.
It's only money, but I like to know what's happening. They are too inundated with requests to answer any of my questions.
I do not believe that I am confident that they will be in business in 60 or even 30 days for me to get the refills.
If they close, basically, I paid about 230 for 30 Norco including a consultation fee.
Now, I wouldn't have minded if I had 90, but for 30, that seems crazy (especially when I have a condition and insurance).
Can anyone who knows how this works e-mail me privately and help me understand what happened if you don't feel comfortable explaning it on the boards.

Hmmmm that's a new one on me. I have never heard of any OP prescribing #30 for 30 days, unless that was a sufficient amount for the condition. (Like a type of chronic pain that only flares up ever so often, every week or two or every month, etc... When you would not need to take the pain meds *daily* I do not see how anyone in chronic pain that needs pain meds daily could get by on #30 per month, as that would be 1 pill per day - so you would basically have 4 hours of the day pain free and the rest of the day in even *worse* pain because your pain would return and also your body's 'hunger' for the pain medicine.
Maybe it was a misunderstanding, and you were actually prescribed #90 w/ 2 refills. That is the normal amount from NWW for chronic conditions (daily pain med needs) - Especially since that is what is showing on the site. I can almost guarantee that there was some kind of misunderstanding - unless you told the doc that you only needed them occasionally or once per day - You were probably prescribed 90. Weird though....

You know, I'm pretty perplexed on some of these posts about NWW. This is NO slam at you Jason - but I've had no less than 4 friends order from NWW in the past several days and received the usual 90. Have you all noticed these negative posts about NWW have come from new members with very few posts? Now, I'm not saying that's a bad thing, we were all new once and I love to get new members on the site but I'm beginning to wonder if this is some kind of bashing campaign against NWW. I'm sorry, I know I'll get flamed for this post but I just don't understand.

I would appreciate any thoughts some of you older members might have. I've recommended this site to many people recently and if they are prescribing 30 pills and doing the 90 day supply thing I'll stop. I have talked to Angela several times recently and she is as usual very professional and tells me it's business as usual - ID, medical records and 90 count. What's up folks???

I just had my first consult with NWW also.... I faxed my records and ID and received 2 scripts... one for 90 and only 60 of the other. I'm not complaining, but the prices they charged me are more than what they indicate on the website. It's Confusing.....
2 questions though. How does Norco compare with Vicodin ES? What brand of Xanax do they dispense? Any help is appreciated. Thanks

Mark,
I find Norco much better. Norco is 10mg hydrocodone and 325mg of aceteminophen. Vicodin ES is 7.5 mgs of hydrocodone and I forget the tylenol count but it's 500 or more. I rather take the Norco because of the less tylenol.
As for the xanax, this also answers the previous post by Jason as well. My mom got the generic xanax. But the doctor also prescribed her 90 but it is coming in 3 different dispensements. She got only 30 the first time with 2 refiils. So it isn't far fetched that Jason is having the same question about the 30 pills. Maybe the doctor is only giving him a total of 90.

Well if this is true it STINKS! About the Xanax, I've received the white Mylan bars twice (2 mg.) and one time Purepac yellow bars. They both work equally great and I agree about the Norco over V ES - that's an awful lot of APAP and NWW usually sends Watson Norco.

The lower # prescribing thing may just be dependent on the condition.... It would be helpful if we knew (at least vaguely) what type of conditions that # of meds was prescribed for? I have sciatica, scoliosis, and too many other lower back problems to list and was prescribed 90 when I used NWW....
