Count me in as another satisfied customer-- faxed my records over late Mon. night, got a call in the morning Tues., meds arrived bright and early Wed.
I am rather diappointed that the doctor didn't prescribe 120 count, which would be very helpful to my back and neck! He was kind and thorough, but said that although I have very good records, he would need a current MRI to go over 90 pills (at least when I explained that my last MRI is 5+ years old because I haven't had health insurance for a while now and can't afford to get a new one, the doctor was most sympathic).
I read on some older posts in this SVS feedback section that there are other SVS medical team members who are more likely to approve 120 count, does anyone know if it's possible to request a change from 90 to 120 when my refill is due next month?

Hi all:
Has anyone been able to get 120 count on their prescription meds from SVS? I am in the process of re-consulting and was wondering if anyone had been able to get more than 90 count on a script.

I have used them and I am not super happy but my meds arrived and they were good. I am new at this so the level of CS might be the same as anywhere else, but I just kinda felt like a cog in their wheel.
I asked for 120 and was turned down flat.

Hi fibrogal:
My sentiments exactly. I have used them several times, but have never been prescribed more than 90 count. The med quality is good, but the fact they they will not prescribe for a higher amount stinks.

Thanks. Gonefishin!!
My sister ALWAYS received 120 count from SVS Doc. She is not able to get her refill's now due to the KY problem's GGGGRRRR , but she never had a problem being prescribed what she was needed. She does have very detailed records, and a fairly recent MRI report, though!
I wouldn't count them out just yet. Try to get updated MRI's etc. and the Dr. will Def. help!!

Thanks rtwister63:
I will look at getting my records updated prior to next consult. I just wasn't sure if they even went to the 120 count script with anyone, but I now have hope.
I just wanted to take the time to say that SVS has been great to me every time I have dealt with them. My consult always is the same day I request it, and my meds come fast, with no problems. As a matter of fact I had a re-consult Thursday at 12:30pm, and received my meds UPS overnight Friday morning at 9:30am!!! They really came through for me and I thought I would share and maybe get them some new business! Thank you so much Special Value Services, you helped me in a total crises!
Starting this month, SVS is now offering all customers the option to pay as you go for your consult fees. What this means, is you only pay a third of the total consult fee at first fill, then a third on your first refill and the final third on the 2nd refill. There is a $6 extra fee for this option. Here's an example:
Original Consult Fee is $120. DB VIP discount is $50. Total consult fee plus $6 payment fee is only $76. Only $25.34 is due at time of original consult and then each refill time.
This is our way of helping everyone save a little extra for the Holidays.
PAY AS YOU GO CONSULTS

Im new and trying to find a site that fits my needs. I dont know much about this, but is SVS associated with any other sites, just so I can get an idea where to begin ordering from. I read about your new promotions and wanted more information.. I have a valid ID and up to date records. Brad or anyone that has any infomation on this site or prices, or customer service, or if they are affiliated with anyone please PM me...thanks soooo much
Feel free to PM me with any questions you might have about our service. We use the same pharmacies as other sites, but that is really the only affiliation we have with any other sites. We are a small company and still able to offer the personal touch and care that most customers want.

I just faxed my medical records about 30 minutes ago. I don't have the capability to send PM's yet since I don't post much. How long before someone will call for my consultation?
Abby, since I don't your real name from your screen name, it's hard for me to give you an exact answer, but with our new promotion, the Dr's are a little busy today and I promise you they will call you as soon as they can. Please feel free to call the customer service depart. at 866-518-1900

Do you know how far they are running behind? My consultation is about 30-40 minutes late so far. How many posts do I need to get PMing ability, then I could PM you my real name.
You should be able to PM as soon as you register, it doesn't matter how many posts you have. Just click on Brads name in one of SVS posts and it will take you to his profile and from there you can send a PM. Hope it works for you and that you got your consult.

No, it says I can't PM yet because I haven't posted enough. As soon as I'm recognized as a responsible poster, my PM's will be activated. I've been a member for quite a while (couple of years?) but don't post often. Other people can PM me, I just can't PM other people.
Here's the message I get when I try to PM:
You can not send PM's yet. Please post your question on the board. As soon as we notice you are a responsible poster we will activate your PM privileges.
Wow - that's a new one to me. As you can see i've been a member since 2001 but i don't post a lot either ... how odd that they make you have a certain number of posts prior to having PM capabilities. Have you tried calling SVS? I would if you are concerned about your consult - i'm sure they are very busy because of the current special they are having. Just give them a call, that's what their CS dept is there for. Good luck.
I'm afraid I might have made a mistake by trying to use SVS. I called & they said the PA tried to call but my phone was busy - well, I have call waiting & hadn't had any other phone calls (in or out) besides that one call to SVS customer service so I don't think they really tried to call. My consultation is about 3 hours late & they can't get the meds out today now, too late for today's shipping. I faxed my medical records early this morning & have been waiting by the phone, not even going outside to check the mail today, and I feel like I'm getting the run around already with them.
Just read in another forum that you have to have 25 posts to be able to PM but that there was no restriction on PM'ing reps ...? Not sure why you can't PM SVS but looks like your almost to your 25 post so keep on posting and hopefully you'll be able to PM soon. Though at this point i'm hoping you've gotten called for your consult.
I should have enough posts now, thanks so much for checking on that for me! I'll try it after this post.
The PA finally called - over 3 hours late & too late to ship today now because she was so late. With the holiday, I'm stuck now without meds this week. The PA that called said she never gives 120 for anything (just got 90) so I probably won't stay with SVS. ::sigh:: I just made the wrong decision & wish I'd chosen another service. Maybe NWW will be back at some point. At this point, I can't recommend SVS.

I ordered my refill from SVS yesterday and they did not come today. Nobody at SVS can give me any information, tracking#...etc. I hope they go out for tomorrow delivery. Who knows, maybe they were affected by all the pharmacy mess on Friday. And no Abby, they WILL NOT give 120. And if you ask the Dr. gets very rude. How dare I!!!! Did anyone receive a refill from SVS today???
