Hi Brad, maybe you could help me out. I have been using SVS for a while now, in fact, I just did my 3rd consult, in the past two consults, I was given 90 tabs both times, but this time, with the same records, I was told that I could only get 60, this is bad because I take 3 per day, I explained to the PA, that I had been getting 90, and didn't know that I needed better records, or I would have sent them, I have a few conditions that would support the script, if I had only been told that I should send them on my previous consults, that would've given me time to get the records before my latest consult, so, now I'm going to be short 30 pills a month for the next 3 months. I don't know what to do. Am I screwed?
Thanks for your help, Groupie

Bad experience with SVS

After reading through the posts, I decided to give SVS a try. So, yesterday I faxed my medical records with my license. A couple of hours later, I called to make sure they had been received because I never received any email or confirmation. They had not received anything, and asked me to fax again. I did. They said they still received nothing, so we confirmed the fax number was correct, and I faxed AGAIN. This time they said they has STILL received nothing and that I should fax to a different number. After I did that, they said that the records were coming in blank, so I must be putting them in the fax machine the wrong way. I know how to use my fax machine, and I was NOT putting the paper in the wrong way. I tried again anyway. Then, this moring, they said they had only received my ID, but the rest of everything was stil blank, and I should try again. At this point I asked if I could email the file, and they gave me an email address to use. So, I emailed all of my records- and then they informed me that my license was expired and I needed a new one to complete the process. That was not a problem with the last ROP I used, and the reason that it is expired is because I don't drive due to the condition for which I need the medication. Now, this wouldn't be so bad if some random woman (NOT the customer service rep I was speaking to) didn't get on the phone and with an attitude and extremely RUDE tone of voice ask me why I didn't get my license renewed. Then, when I answered her, she was even more rude. So, I said, well, thank you, but I will be going somewhere else, and she HUNG UP on me. So, I emailed them and asked that they dispose of my personal information in the proper manner and explained that since they had my ID this morning, I thought it was uncalled for to direct me to send my records anyway. Even after they KNEW my license was expired. They responded with an unprofessional and rude email.
It makes me angry that I had to go through all that trouble of faxing and refaxing and emailing and all of that just for them to tell me my ID wasn't good enough. After they already KNEW that it had expired. I can't go and sit in the Registry for hours in pain for a state ID. I don't need one right now. I don't go out anywhere because I am in pain.
I would never even try to use them again after this. That woman (I think her name is Debbie) made me feel like $h!t- and was so condescending on the phone.

just be glad you got 90, they knocked me down to 60, and now I have two refills for 60, but in my experience, the customer service has been very polite, and the PA's were all very nice, they are just scared to script meds anymore, did you get the 120 the first time, with the same records? that's what doesn't make sense, why were my records good enough the first six months to get 90, now the same records are only good enough for 60?
oh well, they will get the message when the customers move on. like I said before, all they had to do was say, next time, you are going to need better records, and that would have been enough time to get them, who ever heard of a doc lowering your meds like that without notice that you need to start cutting back? I am pretty sure that when my refills are up, I'll be taking those records somewhere else, because I feel like I should have been notified of the stricter records policy. And even though they only lost their pharmacy for a week, we did without meds for two and some people three weeks while they caught up, so I don't think that the rep is being completely honest in his post. OK now I'm through ranting. Now can anyone suggest a good rop?

I just received my second refill from them today -- again, one day early. All accounted for, smooth transaction, one more refill waiting. Then I can re-consult with them.
I've used three ROP's with varying degrees of success, and SVS has been, so far, the easiest to work with. I have good records, so I can go where I want to, but I have enjoyed the service and respect I've received so far.
Again, I hope they don't take the way my two other experiences have -- please keep up the good work!
