Had problems with TriCty and gave SVS a call last week. CS seemed very helpful and prices are pretty good. Received a $50 Gift Cert today for becomeing a new member. I like their awards program and may have found a new home.

Thanks for all who post as I've learned alot from all.

WORST exrerience i have ever had. i was accused by the so called doc that i was drug seeking because i typed my birthdate incorrectly and a few other typos. she was rude and made me feel 2 ft. tall. she said i was too young to have back prolberm dispite extensive med records and 3 mri's. i thought these sights were up to help people in need and not turn them away for misspeled words. i can go to any doc. in town and get this crappy service. but Brian was helpfull he was going to get me a new consult that same day but, no call. i am going to wait until business hours today to contact and find out what the hell is going on!

sxextc,
You were scheduled a consult on Friday evening, but were not home the three times the Dr. called. Since we rescheduled your consult for Sat. morning, the Pharmacy does not work on Sat's, so your script will be sent out for delivery today and you will receive it tomorrow morning.

Thanks
Julie

Just wanted to follow up on my 1st refill experience with Special Value Services, it went very smoothly, not one problem, shipped yesterday , arrived today as scheduled all accounted for, fedex cod , GREAT packaging all nice and non rattling .. i had a tracking numbmer by 3pm yesterday and that was very reassuring , they had all my info from the first order and didn't have to make one call or stress over whether they had got it right or not. And with refills you get entered in this months drawing for prizes , I think this is the last chance for that promo so get in there ! Besides the 75 gift certificate for being a member here which everyone gets with the first consult, you get entered again for each refill, so there's plenty more in their catalog I can use ! Next month I hear they have new promotions , besides the gift certificate for new orders , there's more specials coming up soon ! I love this place really great service and very very prompt , courteous and reliable !

120 count and half the price of ANY nrop out there, get some records togheter , they don't ask a whole lot , just that you have a need for what you're asking for , it's SO worth it !

Thanks SVS , you're the BEST !

Just wanted to report that I have ordered with them now, so I can say that the consult happens fast, fulfillment and shipping was fast too. They were very nice, easy to deal with after faxing everything in, etc.

The only part that bothered me is that apparently they ONLY do 120 count for certain diagnosis patients. They don't state this anywhere that I have found, but I'm a TMJ patient and they will NOT even consider filling 120's for me (hydro). 90 is all that they would even discuss. It's hard to start a consult with someone and then have the guts to just cancel when you find something like that out later in the game. I should have just said that I needed 120 count and canceled after they said they wouldn't do that. But I didn't... so now I'll have refills going on with them that I'm really not going to want to fill bcz I'd rather start with someone else who does 120 ct.

So just beware - if you're not going to them for back pain (I don't remember the exact stipulations) they refuse to prescribe 120 counts. For me, it's just not worth the consult fees and all that when the end result is less meds than I'm going to need in a month. Hell, most months it's hard for me to get by on 120 pills - much less FIFTY less than that.

Beyond that though, they seem like a decent easy to deal with ROP. If I could deal with the90 counts, I would do business with them again.

50 less than 120 = 70

I'm sure you meant to say you don't like getting 30 less, not 50.

I also gave them a try yesterday, received a call the same day from an understanding PA or DR not sure what she was. They would not prescribe 120 only 90 jlyk. The one thing that bothers me is there is no way to check your order either on their website or through email I received nothing.
Maybe you can either send emails to customers or let us log on to the website to check our accounts? I never received a tracking number so I will call later to get that. This is just constructive critism, I still had a good experience with them and if you only need 90ct for the month, then I would recommend them.

Another recomendation is to offer cheaper shipping choices such as Fedex 2 day air because they only offer Next day and its quite exspensive, just another suggestion.

Thanks

We use a couple different Dr/PA teams and one team does not believe in prescribing 120's in fear of someone abusing them. The other teams have no problem with prescribing the 120 count. If you will let us know in advance, we can make sure we send your info to the team that does prescrib 120's.

We are currently having our whole site rebuilt with full automation that will enable the customers to see every aspect of their orders. Please bear with us as we grow and automate.

Brighton Pharmacy normally sends an email to the customers with the tracking numbers, but they had a bad Hail storm yesterday that knocked out their phone lines and we unable to send the emails. Please feel free to call us and we will give you the tracking number.

When we first started we did offer 2 day, but no one was picking it and to streamline and make everything easier, we have Standard Overnight, Priority Overnight and Saturday options. As for the price, the owners said it may go down a little after the automation, but we still about average with most sites.

Hope this helps with your concerns and suggestions.

I had the very same senario. I have serious Joint pain substaniated by my Xray report but she would only prescribe 90ct.

I ask her about 120ct as that was what I needed. 4 per day and I wrote it in my medical review, how many and the times that I took them. She said she could not prescribe 120, just 90ct.

So I had to make a decision to use or not. You will have to make your own decision, but the promos are great!

BUT she was so very nice, I could understand her point and she answered all my questions carefully, so overall experience was a 7 on a scale 1-10.

They do get a 10 for politeness and their customer service !! Especially Julie here on the board!!

They are seriously good folks.

This people are incredible!! Fast service and prompt ntofication of all details and activities!! Plus, the discounts are the best discounts of any site on DB.com.

I encourage everyone to use their services. They also offer compounding medication services for those of us, like me, who require pain management resulting from illness or injury but are concerned about high acetaminiphen levels that other medications may have.

Trust these people......the process took all of two days total!! Thanks SpecialValueServices.com!!

Julie,

i asked ahead of time for the 120 but still didnt get it so people dont waste your time with that if thats what you have to have. i found this op way too expensive. also asked for saturday delivery and didnt get that either. female doc was not very friendly so all said and done i wouldnt use this op again.

Wow! I have to give a big kudos to SVS and their new pharmacy! I thought my refill would be shipped from Woody's and they ship via UPS so I gave them the ups hub address. The new pharmacy shipped early and shipped Fed Ex so by the time I realized this they had sent the package back to sender. I'm in a complete panic that my meds are lost in transit somewhere so I call the pharmacy and explain that I need my meds by the weekend. They offer to call FedEx and verify that the package is on the way back to them and they are reshipping today. Wow! The 29th is when I expected it, so besides a little bit of stress, I'm a okay! A big thank you to both SVS and the new pharmacy!

Had my first problem thus far with Woody's. I placed my refill last Monday, Woody's informed me it wasn't due until Friday which of course meant Tuesday delivery. I understand that, sometimes the pharmacy and the SVS service don't agree on dates. Well, I just opened my package today and I had 2 bottles both labeled correctly with each med I ordered, but when I looked at them I realized they were both filled with the muscle relaxer I ordered instead of one muscle relaxer and one pain reliever. I called Woody's and the guy in cs told me to send both bottles back to them and they would fix it. I am now out of meds (and after I really tried to use them sparingly-plus I had to spend 40.00 to overnight them to the pharmacy in the hopes that they will turn around and send them right out so that I can get them by Friday) Anyway I'll let you know how well this whole situation is handled, although I think the 40.00 I just spent is gone.

Just wanted to post my experience.

Requested Consultation on Monday 12-19-05. Dr. called on Tuesday 12-20-05 early am. Received meds Thursday 12-22-05 (I think 1 day delay due to confusion about privacy block on my home telephone number- darn telemarketers!).

I plan to use again for 2nd consultation when due.

Have to let everyone know what a wonderful experience I had with these guys! I got a late start and didn't get my records faxed over till after 2 pm. They couldn't guarantee a consult and meds tomorrow because it was so late, but they said they would try.

At 3:05 the doctor called. She was nice and prescribed me what I needed, no problem!

The pharmacy has a cut off of 4:00 and she assured me she would get it to them before 4. We will see if they get here tomorrow and I will update then.

Definitely give this company a try! They really came through for me!!

I received my order Friday..never did get a tracking number or shipment confirmation, but I'm real happy with the speed & courtesy of SVS! THANK YOU!

Only suggestion I have is to have a little interactivity on the website so we can check the status of orders.

Apparently HOS is ALSO BuyDirect's new pharmacy. And here I thought that SVS had exclusive use of HOS? Isn't BuyDirect the OCS that everyone rumored was related somehow to SVS? Things that make you go, "hmmmmm".

Hmmmmmmmmmm..lol

BuyDirectRx and SpecialValueServices certainly know each other well but are two separate entities.

SVS is a great organization. They respect our position in this industry and likewise, we show them
professional courtesies in doing business as we do a "few" other ROPs.

We are using the same pharmacy, H.O.S. (Home Oxygen Service), along with others and very
happy to have the services of a great pharmacy for BuyDirectRx's members.

I don't know why this is such a big deal...why the denial?

I'm sure that SVS and BuyDirect are two seperate entities now, they've had plenty of time to seperate, well, BuyDirect has had enough time to get on it's feet and get planted in the biz.

But I hope you won't deny that at one point, in the very early existence of BuyDirect, they were in fact a sister company of SVS.

I ordered from SVS after receiving notice about their $70.00 consult special. I had previously ordered from MyCareServices, which was a debacle at the end; then I tried MES. MES was just ok; they shorted me on 10 tablets then denied the whole thing, but they were quick and responsive, an improvement over my experience elsewhere.

I honestly didn't know what to expect from SVS. I called on Tuesday, faxed records and ID, had my consult within a few hours, and today the FedEx guy dropped an envelope at my door. A day earlier than I had expected it!

I ordered 60 2mg lorazepam, 2 refills, discounts applied $169.00 for everything; the consult was quick and to the point, medication s/e explained to me and the PA made sure I didn't have any questions. I was very impressed with the service and price; I'm also happy that I didn't pursue the refills w/MES after reading some of the feedback.

Thank you SVS for a smooth, painless transaction!
