Would I have to use my credit card to join, or is there any other payment options?

You can have the same, or different, username on both sides.
You pick them :-)

We accept credit cards and e-gold.

All subscription options can be seen at:

http://www.drugbuyers.com/join

We offer instant access. Your credit card, bank, egold, or phone statement will NOT show Drugbuyers.com

The statement will show Segpay.com (not drugbuyers.com)

Thanks

I joined the VIP side this month using my credit card. There were no glitches and I was given instant access. Also, I have already "gotten my money back" by using one of the discount codes located on the VIP board.

The money you spend to join goes to drugbuyers.com, but because of their extensive affiliations with these OP's, you're able to get the money right back into your pocket/pocketbook by using the discount codes. To me, it wound up feeling like I bought myself a gift certificate on my next med order.

Signing up on the VIP side was the best move I made, because both my hubby and myself use drugbuyers, we have already made our money back from the discounts from being a VIP, and further down the road, we will actually making money by saving on discounts- plus, and as you say, it helps support the site- pretty simple!

...yes, and more...it's a parallel universe but much more sentient and less dramatic than the freeboard...but without the conspiracy theories that I love so much!

spondylo,

I love that cat your Avatar!! Is that your cat
or just a pic. I had a cat like that she had a
flat face. I wish I still had her.

Back to the topic!

Anyway I also joined the VIP side. I love the topics
and the discounts. Also I have leared so much from
the people here that it is the least I can do to help
keep it around.

I am concerned who knows my name address etc when I join as a VIP? Is it just the credit card company or drugbuyers.com ? Do you keep a database of all users (user ids names and addresses?) Is my privacy protected? Thanks

Hi Stress,

Drugbuyers uses a third party processing service, and the actual bill on your statement is benign and non-descript. Drugbuyers does not have access to your financial or private information.

Just wondering...I was kind of broke to say the least when I signed up for the VIP board. I only purchased a 6 month membership. Will I be notified when my time is almost up so I can renew without losing my user name, PMs, etc?

Thank you for your support!

If you purchased a one time subscription you will have to buy a new one when it expires... but you can always access your existing VIP board account... the account will be waiting for you...

Also... and this is a tip. It is cheaper to buy a recurring subscription. The rebills are a lot cheaper that buying a new one. If you do not like to renew then you just go to www.segpay.com and cancel the rebills...

Example: a six month subscription is $29
A six month recurring subscription starts at $29 (less than $5 per month) for the first sicx months but renews at $20 for the second six months (a little over $3 per month)

There are two main reasons why a good card may be declined

1. The billing address entered did not match billing address
2. Our billing company is in Europe. Many cards are restricted to USA purchases only

Thank you for trying

Does DB send me some kinda notice/email that I will need to renew? Don't want to come out one day and not be able to log on.

Thanks

Not really. It is not automated. If we have time we send reminders but we usually do not.

If you have a one time subscription with no rebills you can not renew that subscription. You have to buy a new one

And if you have a recurring subscription it renews in an automatic way if you still have the same credit card info...

Qustion:

Can you send a PM letting me know if I am able re-activate my previous VIP account? Reason: data stored in that account, etc., etc.

Many thanks and kind regards,

Hi, I can't PM, or I would send this question to one of the Mods or Admin.

I was wondering if someone could please explain the differences between the VIP side and the freeboard. It appears the the discounts are mainly for Consult and Records ops. I don't use either. Is there more to it? I looked around on the freeboard but I couldn't seem to find a lot of info about the differences between the 2 boards. I just like to know what I am paying for in advance.

Thanks for any advice and help!!!

Easy Answer(s):

VIP's support the Free Board,,ie Drugbuyers in general
Discounts available Only to VIP's
Extra Help when needed/aka Intervention if possible
VIP's support the Free Board
More old school over there/aka Knowledge
Newbies(should)get help they require quickly
VIP's support the Free Board
Lots of Cool Links etc..not available to free side
Customization of views,,colors and so on
VIP's support the Free Board
Extensive coverage you won't find on Free Board
Inside Scoop,,ie..free is fast yet VIP is knowledge when you need it from a seasoned vet(most times),,etc..

Did I mention VIP's support the Free Board?

I wish DB could take PayPal, I have all my money in a PayPal Money Market account. It pays over 5% interest which is a lot these days. I don't know what I can do, most places take PayPal for security.

Any word on ever accepting PayPal in the future?

Good Question,,,seems I remember it had something to do with the name "DRUGBUYERS" and Paypal didnt want to be involved or some such. You know politics. PP is owned by eBay.

If you have the PP debit/credit card I believe you can join that way. PP has no control over WHO you pay...they just don't like the site name. PP will honor a charge to DB and it will be deducted same as any other online transaction. Been there, done that.

Hope this helps.
God Bless,
J.

You can pay with debit. It seems that some people can pm without 25 post although I believe it says that you can't some seem to work and some don't. You will get discounts that are usually enough to cover the cost to sign up. Lots of nice people over on the VIP's also.

I have to agree everyone is very helpful and knowledgable on the VIP board. Seems to be a great bunch of people and there is lots of information on both sites(Free and VIP). I also think this is one of the better sites on the Internet and I like to help support it. It isn't very expensive and I would like to see this site stay around a long time. On the VIP side you can PM right away (there isn't the 25 posting minimum).

sorry, i should be able to figure this out for myself but i have tried a lot in the past two days and somehow i just can't find the VIP area. I click on hyperlinks such as those in this thread or forum and it just takes me around in circles or takes me to a link asking me to join. But i already joined a few weeks ago; I paid money to join VIP. I found a pharmacy that your site says there is coupon for in the VIP area but i don't know how to find it. any help would be much appreciated. thanks

You would still have to register on the free side as it is separate from the VIP.

I registered on the VIP side first too and it was not easy to get on the free side.

I purchased the 3 month recurrung; $19 and then $15 every 3 months. I don't recall a 2 month offer at that time.

All went well intially, as did the first $15, but then my new pc went down and never worked again. Motherboard issues from Day 1.

I finally purchased another one and I had no VIP access maybe IP related (??). I had trouble at Segpay too but lost that one within the first month.

It locked me out and IBM/Lenovo is ridiculous so that one remains dead until such time..

I was much happier with no PC but my finances suffered terribly. Transitioning back to paper after 12 yrs proved impossible so I ditched all my mountains of paper and collection letters.

I'm back on the Lemon of '06 and reformatting almost daily. This doesn't look good.

If I ever have reliable access I will pursue VIP again.

All that to say that there is a glitch when you start on VIP. Most people don't start there so it'll never be an issue worth investigating.

I'm technically savvy so I knew it immediately & no one else should feel inept either

do you get free pm once you are a VIP or do you need 25 posts before you can pm?

No, you still need to get 25 posts. I became a free member and VIP member at the same time and I still had to have 25 posts to pm. You can pm an owner, though, without 25 posts.

The PM Restriction was implemented for a reason. It prevents scammers, and others, from popping in and spamming all the PM accounts.

Most Scammers are not going to take the time to make 25 intelligent posts prior to spamming. This is why the posts have to be reasonable posts. You can't just type in a word 25 times; doesn't work that way.

If you had been a member before this Rule was implemented it would make so much more sense.

For a long time member, getting PM's from people who have never made a single post can be a bit eerie. You have no idea at all who is asking you the questions. I find it very helpful when I get a PM asking a question to check out some of the persons posts to get an idea of what the person is looking for before I respond.

I hope it makes more sense now. It has been a very handy upgrade.

you can PM right away on the VIP side now.
But what is so important about being able to PM somone when you so new? did you read the Rules and find out what it says about asking someone to PM you in an open post?

 Quote:
Do not post messages that say "I sent you a PM", "Send me a PM with the info", "Did you receive my PM?", "I will reply by PM", or similar.

You will get a lot more advice if you put it on the open board, unless you have somthing to hide.

I've always felt that newbies racing thru with nonsense one-liners to get to the 25 post stage are wanting to use that feature for email sources or illegal med trades.

or at the very least, to talk about people behind their backs.

I hardly ever initiate a pm - prefer to put everything out there! gets me in trouble sometimes though...

The discounts that you get when you join the VIP
Program are fine. Everybody likes to save a few
dollars.

What we all want are two or three sources that are
completely reliable. Reasonable prices are also
at the top of my list.

I just received a shipment from an IOP listed on
the free board. It arrived five days after it
was shipped! Many others ordered from the same
IOP and are not so luckly. This seems to be
the story with all the IOPs listed on the free
board.

I used a couple of IOPs for several years that
were not listed on any board. They were 99.9%
reliable. As soon as they are listed they get
flooded with orders. Unless they have a couple
of dozen folks who do nothing but pack and ship
all day, they're in trouble!

I know of several IOPs that are incredibly reliable.
Unfortunately, their price are similar to any chain
drugstore in the USA, plus a huge "consultation fee."
To me, a "consultation fee" is equivalent to the points
you pay a loan shark!

Besides saving a few dollars, are there IOPs listed
on the VIP forum that are not on the free board? If
there are, do they "deliver the goods" any better
than the IOPs listed on the free board?

I think it was Groucho Marx who said something like,
"I don't want to join any club that would have me for
a member." If the VIP Program sounds good, maybe I'll
make an exception.

Hi Heidi & Melody,
You run a great forum.
If it ever gets to the point where you have to
shut down the forum permanently please
share that in advance. I'm sure many would contribute.
I would for sure throw in a few hundred bucks.
I just don't require the VIP benefits, just access.
Thanks.

It always confuses me when people think that ANYTHING should be free.

It takes a lot of time and effort to run a board. Those who do should not have to pay for direct costs out of their pockets as well. I'm sure they don't make much, if anything, for their time. If they didn't personally see a need for the board, they wouldn't do it---it has to partly be a labor of love.

Come on people. If you benefit from this board in any way--whether it is discounts, information, or support, it is your obligation to do your part.

Join and then decide which board you want to call home. Some like the free side, some like the pace of the VIP. I go back and forth.

But one thing remains the same. I have been a VIP member as long as I have been a free side member. It is well worth the small cost for the information, support, and discounts you receive.

Couple errors on the VIP purchase screen:

The first two months are $15 and the rebills are $10 every three months.(it is 10 $ every 2 months, or this would be the cheapest)

Two month subscrition with rebils: $15 for the first two months and then $10 every two months
Three month subscription, no rebills: $19
Three month subscrition with rebils: $19 for the first three months and then $15 every three months
Six month subsctiption, no rebills: $19
Six month subscrition with rebils: $29 for the first six months and then $20 every six months
One year subscription, no rebills: $49

(all the 1st line rebills are misspelled)

Kotee is that the correct amounts you posted? The reason I am asking is because it reads:

3 months, no rebills $19.00
6 months, no rebills $19.00

That doesn't make sense really both being $19.00. I think I signed up a month or so ago and chose the 6 month, no rebills but can't remember if it was $19.00 or a little more really. It is obvious if the 2 prices are correct as you wrote above which one if wanting a 3 or 6 month, no rebill option which one they will choose! LOl
I would have done the year, which is the best but don't have that much money at one time so I will have to renew and see how much I can afford when the time comes.
Maybe admin can clarify if that is correct, in case someone wants to but a 3 or 6 month, no rebill option.

Thanks for posting the information for us!

The first page has the pricing error. Because I tried to use it, but when you go to pay, you get 2 month rebills, not 3.

All the IOP's and NROPs are the same on the free side. The suppers do not care if you are a VIP. The cost to run the site is based on the banner adds and the fact then when you use a discount code DB gets paid for referral business. I know from posts that this site is a very good money maker and not a charity.

Well, you got me. \:\) I haven't gotten anything in the way of discounts as of yet (not your fault, it's all there for me to avail myself of), but the information that is gleaned from having access to both sides is definitely invaluable.

Now, if only there was a way for you to give us non-Shill users a way of PM'ing each other without having to pad our post count with a bunch of meaningless garbage posts AND allow for proper vetting, the world would be an almost perfect place! \:\)

to administrators or someone who knows for sure. If I join VIP will it also help epharmacywatchers.com ? And if one goes down will the other stay up mabe or will they both go down if that happened which I am not expecting at all but just want to know if they are incorporated or separate or not. Thanks and am deffinately thinking of joining the VIP side. To help support Drugbuyers stay alive and have more funds to help us all. If it weren't for them I would have probably lost alot of money by now trying scamers. Thanks for letting everyone check it out for free. It helps both sides really. A PM would work for answer because I hust got here by clicking on VIP link. Just incase I can't find it. That means if you answer and I don't respond or hear from me again on this page.

Thanx,
Mercedes

Neither site is going down for any reason. And even if one did for some ungodly situation, they are both independant from one another.

Also, If you join as a VIP it helps both sites as they are mirrors of each other. I do suggest you join, joining will give you access to hundreds of dollars in discounts and access to the VIP message board.

There are many perks to join, here is a link:

I agree that VIP should be paid by anyone who can afford it.

Friendly clinic gives a $20.00 discount so that is a great savings. I would not give my home phone number though. It is a business phone and they call you about refills.

It is expensive to run these sites and I am sure ePharmacyWatch.com is related so we need to do our part.

You Can go in to walgreens and ask for the green dot visa card. Then there are instructions on the card and a phone # to call so you can have money put on it, and attach it to your Name.

Well, there is "no free lunch". Even without the discounts, a person should support what they use and believe in. If we can afford pay today's prices for our monthly orders, we can afford to throw-in a miniscule percentage for the information on this board.

Even if there weren't any discounts, we should support Drugbuyers, because it would be difficult if not impossible to find this information elsewhere. I admit, I'm guilty of posting mainly on the free side, but I do read quite a few posts over on the VIP side, and they are by and large informative and well thought out.

This site has gotten me thru some really horrible times in my life. Not just the information and links, but also the fellowship with other members.

I've been on the free side for over 6 years, and VIP over 4 years. I've saved a lot of money with the VIP membership in that time.

It's worth every penny and it is cheap considering the amount of information available to us.

I've never heard of green CC or whatever, I use Segpay for my membership.

Anyway, if you can afford it, you won't regret it. There are a lot of great people and information (on both sides).

You may have better luck if you submit a help ticket or contact the company where you paid for your VIP membership, which should be Segpay.

The discount code words are listed in a special discount section on the VIP side. The code is different for each site. If I were to give you the code here now I'd get myself banned. On the VIP forum list there options for the discounts for international sources and us sources...Admin made it easy just search the VIP side..it's all there..~~~Cheers Captain~~~
